I've been running into an issue with my Ethernet connection on Windows 11. It shows that there's no internet when I try to load most websites or services, but I can still access YouTube and perform internet speed tests without a problem. I've tried various troubleshooting steps like restarting my computer, unplugging and replugging the Ethernet cable, switching adapters, and using several commands in the command prompt that I found online. However, none of those have resolved the problem. Strangely, I'm getting decent speeds—about 624 Mbps download and 632 Mbps upload. Why am I only able to access YouTube and speed test sites, but not much else? My computer doesn't have wireless capability either.

It sounds like there might be something that's blocking certain websites or services on your connection. You mentioned that you can run speed tests fine, which usually indicates that the connection itself is working. Have you checked if there are any firewall settings or parental controls set up on your PC or router that could be limiting access during specific times or categories? That could explain why you can access just about nothing except YouTube and speed tests.
Yeah, I really need to check into those settings. It's just odd that YouTube works when almost everything else doesn't.
I saw your screenshot of the Epic Games troubleshoot section. The message it's giving could relate to connection settings or issues with the platform itself. Have you tried clearing the Epic Games launcher cache or reinstalling it? Sometimes that resolves connectivity issues with their services.

Totally, that makes sense! If you're getting good speeds, it's likely a settings issue rather than a hardware one.
