I'm facing an issue where my internet is working fine, but my PC isn't recognizing the Ethernet connection. I left it on overnight and when I checked in the morning, it had switched to Wi-Fi. The Ethernet cable lights up solid green on both the PC and router, but whenever I restart, the Ethernet icon appears for a moment and then Wi-Fi kicks in automatically. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Make sure your PC isn't set to connect to Wi-Fi automatically. On top of that, consider updating or reinstalling your network adapter driver. Also, running some commands in CMD like `ipconfig /release`, `ipconfig /renew`, and `ipconfig /flushdns` can help resolve network issues.
Try disabling your Wi-Fi first, then unplug the Ethernet cable from your PC. Wait for about a minute before plugging it back in. See what your PC says—sometimes it might show messages about an unknown network or it might be identifying the connection.
Glad you mentioned that! I had a similar situation and following the unplugging routine actually fixed it for me. Sometimes these things just get stuck and need a little restart.
