I need help with a gaming issue. My PC specs include a Ryzen 9 5900x processor, a Sapphire Radeon RX 9060XT GPU with 16GB of VRAM, and 32GB of DDR4 RAM running at 3200MHz on an ASUS Prime B-450M-A motherboard. I'm using a 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD and a 600W Bronze power supply.
When playing demanding games like Warzone at medium settings, I experience severe lag spikes where my FPS drops from 130 to as low as 12. However, I can run Rainbow Six Siege smoothly at 140+ FPS. I've attempted overclocking and changed various settings, but now my computer even crashes during Siege. I've updated drivers, flashed the BIOS, and reinstalled games, and I'm considering a factory reset. Shouldn't my setup handle Warzone well? Any advice?

It sounds like there might be an issue with your GPU. Mine started crashing too if the computer moved or vibrated, so check if that’s a factor for you. Also, it could be a good idea to look into the power supply connections and make sure everything is snug, just in case.
Be cautious with overclocking your GPU; often, the performance gains aren’t worth the risk. Instead, consider upgrading to a higher-end GPU if possible. Also, the problem might not just be your hardware. Game optimization varies, so try different games and monitor your temperatures and voltages. Sometimes the bottlenecks can stem from outdated HDDs or even connection issues.
I was pushing the CPU close to its max boost, but I left the GPU untouched.
Totally relatable! Just keep an eye on those temps while gaming.

I had a similar issue with my 4070TI, and it started crashing just a week after I got it. Sometimes it’s just a faulty unit.
