I'm experiencing some serious choppiness in my game, no matter how I adjust the graphics settings. I've tried everything from low to cinematic, but it still feels really laggy. Here are my specs:
- CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-8100 CPU @ 3.60GHz
- RAM: 16GB
- Ethernet: Realtek Gaming GbE Family Controller
- GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT
The game is capped at 60fps - should I change that limit? My laptop handles the game smoothly, and everything else in my house runs nicely. We just installed this new GPU today, so I'm wondering if it needs more time to settle in. I'm pretty frustrated with the situation right now!

You might want to try using DDU to completely uninstall your previous GPU drivers. Also, just double-check that your HDMI cable is connected to the GPU and not the motherboard. That can sometimes cause issues!
What game are you trying to play? It’ll help narrow down the issue.
If your laptop runs it smoothly, it might be a driver or settings issue. Make sure you’ve updated all drivers after installing the new GPU.
I'm trying to play Path of Titans, but it runs so poorly. I also want to play Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, but I can’t if PoT is lagging like this.
