I just set up a gaming PC, but I'm noticing that my internet connection is only hitting a maximum of 12 Mbps over Wi-Fi. Meanwhile, my laptop, which is sitting right next to it, is getting around 150 Mbps on the same Wi-Fi connection. Any ideas on why this might be happening or how to fix it?

Is your connection truly Wi-Fi? I’ve seen folks call their internet Wi-Fi when they’re really just on a wired connection by mistake. Make sure you’re actually connected to the right network!

Honestly, gaming PCs and Wi-Fi sometimes don’t mix well. If you’ve got that option, using Ethernet would give you way better speeds. Wi-Fi can be hit or miss due to interference and signal strength, especially if you're in a crowded area.

Try updating your network card drivers. That usually helps a lot with connection issues. Just go to the manufacturer's website and download the latest drivers for your specific model.

I’m not sure how to do that. Could someone walk me through it?
