Why is my GPU boot light on after moving my PC?

I recently moved my gaming PC back home from college and now I'm facing an issue where the boot light for the GPU is on, and the system won't boot into the BIOS. I've reconnected the GPU, but that didn't help. I'm a bit stumped on what to do next since this has worked fine in the past. Any ideas?

First, you should check your power supply to make sure everything is plugged in properly. Also, try reseating the RAM and the CMOS battery. It's a good idea to inspect the GPU slot and the GPU itself for any damage that might have occurred during the move. If you can, test the GPU in another machine to see if it works there.

Have you checked all connections to the power supply? Sometimes cables can get a little loose during transport. And it might be worth reseating the GPU one more time just in case.

I don't really know what CMOS is either, but I looked it up; it's the battery that keeps your BIOS settings. If there's no visible damage, taking it to a local shop like Best Buy might be a safe bet. If you tried using another GPU and it still doesn't work, that's frustrating!
