I'm using a GTX 1660 Ti and I've noticed that the fan suddenly ramps up to really loud levels—like a jet engine—for a few seconds, takes a break, and then does it again every few minutes while I'm playing games, especially Apex Legends. I've cleaned out some dust recently, and the temperatures during these spikes hover around 75 degrees Celsius, which doesn't seem too bad. Is there something I can do to fix this? Any tips would be appreciated!

You might want to try setting a custom fan curve using MSI Afterburner. Adjusting the hysteresis settings in the fan control tab could help too—starting at 5°C is a good idea. If the ramping still happens, you could experiment with raising it to 10°C.
Thanks for the tip! I noticed that my GPU is hitting over 80 degrees while gaming now. Since the fans kick into overdrive past that temperature, should I be concerned about cooling? Do you think it's time to dust it again or maybe apply new thermal paste?
