I've been experiencing some serious overheating issues with my GPU. On Sunday, while I was just hanging out in Discord and in the Bo7 menu for a few hours, my fans suddenly ramped up dramatically, and the GPU temperature shot up to 98°C. I quickly exited the game, and thankfully it cooled down. However, now every time I launch Bo7 or Battlefield 6, the temperature spikes to between 85°C and 90°C.
Initially, I thought the new driver update (591.80) was the culprit, so I cleaned the GPU and rolled back to an older driver (581.42) that a few friends recommended. Unfortunately, that didn't help either. I tried adjusting the fan curves and even throttled the GPU to prevent overheating, but the situation hasn't improved.
Previously, my GPU maintained a comfortable temperature of around 60°C to 65°C while gaming, never exceeding 68°C for the past six months. Now, my idle temperatures are normal at 30°C to 40°C, but any GPU-intensive tasks really push its limits.

It sounds like your GPU is just struggling under load. It might be worth checking your case airflow again—make sure there are no blockages at the front or back where the fans are. Sometimes, if one case fan isn't working right, it can cause heat to build up inside. Also, make sure the fans on the GPU itself are spinning properly. A little dust can affect performance too, so it's a good idea to clean it out with some compressed air. Believe me, I've had my GPUs running hot in the past too!

I've actually checked all my fans, and they seem to be working fine. The airflow in my case is good since my CPU is sitting at 50°C to 55°C. The problem definitely lies with the GPU itself.
