I'm using an RTX 5070 Ti paired with an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, and I'm noticing something odd while playing Battlefield 6. My CPU usage barely reaches 40%, but my GPU hovers around 70%, which sometimes even drops to 50%. It feels like something is holding back the performance because if my GPU could get closer to 90%, I know my FPS would improve significantly. Any suggestions on what could be causing this issue? Thanks!

It sounds like you might be hitting a CPU bottleneck, especially since Battlefield 6 is pretty demanding on the CPU side. If your GPU isn't maxing out, it could be that your CPU is the limiting factor here. Also, double-check if you have any FPS limits set in the game or through your GPU drivers; they can really hold your performance back.
Check your temperatures while gaming. It helps to monitor both CPU and GPU usage along with the temperatures at your current FPS. If your GPU is running cool and usage is still low, then it confirms the CPU isn't fully utilized.
Just checked, my GPU's around 60°C at 180 FPS, but GPU usage is stuck at about 60-70%, and my CPU fluctuates between 40-60%.
BF6 is definitely CPU-intensive. If you want your GPU to work harder, consider bumping your resolution up, like to 4K—it'll make your gameplay more GPU-bound.
Make sure there's no FPS limit enabled in the game settings or any Vsync turned on, as that can cap your framerate and keep your GPU from working at full power.
According to some benchmarks, at 1080p, the RTX 5070 Ti should be able to handle more frames than your Ryzen 7 can push. So yeah, depending on your game settings, your CPU might just not be keeping up. You might want to look for any configuration fixes for CPU usage that are still applicable.
Thanks for the tip! I’m already using that cfg fix you mentioned.

I've tried lots of fixes too, and it still feels like my GPU's not fully utilized.
