I recently built a new PC about a month ago, featuring an XFX RX 6650 XT graphics card and a Ryzen 5 7600 processor. While playing Red Dead Redemption 2, I initially saw a maximum GPU temperature of 71°C, but now it's hitting 82°C. This seems high compared to benchmarks I've seen. Can anyone help me understand what might be causing this and how I can fix it?

That temperature is definitely concerning, especially for a desktop. You want to make sure your cooling system is working well. Check if your fans are running properly and if there's any dust buildup. Also, consider the room temperature—as you pointed out, if it's too hot, it can affect your GPU's performance.
Yeah, and don’t forget to look at your GPU drivers. Sometimes an outdated driver can lead to overheating.
