I built my PC in October 2025, and I'm mainly playing games like Valorant, CS:GO, and Overwatch. However, I'm only getting around 100+ FPS, and sometimes it drops to between 40-70 FPS. I checked my GPU usage, and it's only about 20%, while my CPU usage sits at over 50%. I tried updating my graphics drivers, but that didn't help—YouTube videos started lagging and choppy instead. I also ran a UserBenchmark test, but I don't understand the results:
- UserBenchmarks: Game 65%, Desk 96%, Work 62%
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700G - 89.6%
- GPU: Nvidia RTX 5060 - 67.5%
- SSD: Kioxia-exceria PRO SSD 1TB - 284.7%
- RAM: G.SKILL F4 DDR4 3200 C16 2x16GB - 67.8%
- Motherboard: MSI MAG B550 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI (MS-7C91)
I'm not sure if my FPS issues are related to my Valorant settings (everything is set to low), but I'd love some tips to boost my frame rates. I don't have much expertise in tech, just the basic knowledge!

First off, make sure your monitor is connected to the GPU ports and not the motherboard's ports. If it's plugged into the integrated graphics, that could definitely impact performance. Also, your CPU may be limiting your GPU's performance, particularly when you're gaming at 1080p since those games tend to rely more on CPU power. Try checking your settings, and consider toggling off the integrated graphics in your BIOS for better results.

Yeah, I checked and it's plugged directly into the graphics card. I wonder if that makes a huge difference.
