Why is My GPU’s 3D Utilization So Low After Upgrading My CPU?

Hey everyone! I recently swapped my old Ryzen 5 3600 for a Ryzen 7 5800XT and now my GPU is showing some weird issues while gaming. It's dropping to just 7-12% 3D utilization, which is a big change from before when everything ran smoothly. I tried turning off Smart Access Memory and fTPM in the BIOS, but that didn't help. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers, and even did a fresh install of Windows 11 Pro. I'm really at a loss here. Any suggestions on what could be causing this stuttering during gameplay? Here are my specs:

- **CPU**: Ryzen 7 5800XT
- **GPU**: Radeon RX 7900XT 20GB
- **RAM**: GSKILL RipjawsV 32GB DDR4 3200MHz

Have you checked if you have the same motherboard that you used with the 3600? You might need to update the BIOS to ensure it properly supports the newer CPU model. Always a good first step after a CPU change! If the BIOS is already updated, consider resetting it to the default settings, then adjusting only the RAM settings to XMP/DOCP for the 3200 MHz profile. Also, double-check that your GPU is installed in the correct PCIe slot, usually the top one, since using the wrong slot can limit performance.

I did update the BIOS to the newest one before swapping the CPUs, and I also did a clean Windows reinstall. The motherboard is the same - an AsRock B450M-HDV R4.0.
