Why is my hard drive not appearing after changing my GPU and PSU?

I recently swapped my GPU from a GTX 1070 to an RTX 3090 and upgraded my PSU from 650W to 850W. However, since making these changes, my hard drive isn't showing up in the BIOS or Windows. I have a 500GB SSD and a 3TB hard drive connected to the PSU and the motherboard through SATA ports 1 and 2. The SSD is recognized without any issues, but the hard drive is missing. I suspect it might be related to the new setup. Can anyone help me troubleshoot this? I apologize if my terminology is off; I'm still learning about PC components.

Did you replace the PSU cables too? Sometimes, if you reuse old cables from a previous power supply, it can lead to issues. Make sure everything is connected properly and try reseating the cables just to be safe.

Yeah, I did use the new PSU's cables for power, motherboard, CPU, and GPU. I didn't change the memory and storage cables, though. I’ll double-check those connections and see if it helps!

Also, you might want to verify that both the power and data cables are securely connected to the hard drive and the motherboard. Sometimes reseating the connectors can make a difference.
