I've noticed something strange with my iCloud account. After setting up family sharing with my mom for Apple Pay, I found that whenever I change my iCloud profile picture, it also changes the picture that shows up for her in Messages. I thought leaving the family sharing would fix this issue, but it hasn't. To make things weirder, when I update her icon in Messages, my picture changes too. I'm unsure how to resolve this. Any ideas?

Go to your Settings and tap on your name at the top. If you see the same name or email listed for both of you, that’s likely your issue! It should be different if you want separate accounts.
Make sure to look at your contact card too. Sometimes, the 'My Card' at the top of your contacts might have your mom's info instead of yours. Change that to reflect your own info!
It sounds like you might still be sharing the same Apple ID rather than just family sharing accounts. Double-check if you both are using the same Apple ID for iCloud. If your mom has your phone number or email tied to her contact info, that could be causing this as well. Try checking that first!

I checked, and it didn’t have her info! I even created a new 'My Card' with just my information.
