Hey everyone! I've been having some major issues with my internet speed. Just yesterday, my WiFi was running smoothly at about 300 Mbps, but today it's dropped to only 3-12 Mbps. I've tried a bunch of fixes like reinstalling and updating the network drivers, and even resetting my network settings. What's puzzling is that the WiFi works perfectly at 300 Mbps for a few minutes before slowing down. It's definitely not a WiFi issue since other devices like phones and iPads are working fine. Could switching to an Ethernet connection solve this?

How are you measuring the speed? Are you talking about download or upload speeds? Have you tried moving closer to the router? It’s also worth checking if other devices are showing the same slow speeds at the same time.
I’m dealing with a similar slowdown. What worked for me temporarily was resetting the network settings in Windows. Just go to the network settings and find the reset option. However, it seems to only be a temporary fix since the problem returns after a while.
It’s possible that your neighbor is using the same WiFi channel as you, which could be causing some interference. You might want to check your channel settings and switch to a less crowded one.
