Hey everyone! I'm having a frustrating issue with my Wi-Fi speed. Yesterday, I was getting around 300 mbps, but suddenly today it has dropped down to just 3-12 mbps. I've tried several troubleshooting steps like reinstalling and updating network drivers, and even resetting my network settings, but nothing seems to help. What's odd is that my Wi-Fi works perfectly, getting that 300 mbps speed, for a few minutes before crashing down to 3 mbps. I also checked and it works fine on other devices like my phone and tablet. I'm wondering if plugging in an Ethernet cable might fix this issue? Any advice would be appreciated!

How are you measuring the speed? Is that your download or upload speed? You might want to try moving closer to the router to see if that helps. Just to confirm, this speed issue isn't happening on your other devices, right?
It could be that your neighbor's Wi-Fi is using the same channel as yours, which can cause interference and slow things down. You might want to check what channel your Wi-Fi is on and change it to something less crowded.
I've had similar slowdowns! A quick fix for me was to go into the network settings and hit the "reset network settings" button. It’s in the "additional settings" category, but it might vary a bit depending on your language settings. It'll help temporarily, but I'm not sure it'll last long term.
I might try that! It sounds like it worked for you, but I’ll keep an eye on it. I also heard it could be related to the KB5067036 update, so I’m thinking about uninstalling that too.

1. My download speed is around 9 mbps while upload is 1-3 mbps, which is way off from yesterday. 2. I tried getting closer to the router, but it didn’t improve anything. 3. Yeah, I just tested it on my phone and it runs fine.
