I'm having a really frustrating issue with the default Mail app on my iPhone. No matter what I try, it only sends emails after a long delay, resulting in a flood of emails coming in all at once, sometimes even days later. I've gone through every possible setting and looked up solutions online, but nothing seems to work. I just want my emails to come in instantly—not in a wave after days. It's making me miss important messages, and clearing notifications isn't an ideal fix. Can anyone share why this is happening and if there's a way to solve it?

Just so you know, iCloud and the Mail app are not the same thing. iCloud is Apple's cloud service that might be syncing your emails, but the Mail app is just the interface. You might want to check if there's any ongoing issue with iCloud itself.
It sounds like there might be a misconfiguration in your Mail app settings or maybe even an issue with the email provider. Are you using a specific email service other than iCloud? Sometimes the settings can get mixed up, causing delays. A good step would be to check your account settings and ensure everything is correctly linked to iCloud.
Yeah, also make sure your device is updated to the latest iOS version. That can sometimes fix weird bugs like this!
Thanks for clarifying! I wasn’t aware of that distinction. I’ll dig deeper into iCloud settings.
