Why is my keyboard acting so weird?

I'm having some serious issues with my keyboard that I need help with. It seems like I accidentally triggered a shortcut or something because it's been acting up. I've reset everything and restarted my PC, but nothing's worked so far. The problem is that the space bar often doesn't respond, and in the browser, it auto-fills sentences. Even the arrow keys are misbehaving; when I press the left arrow, sometimes it just types a space instead of moving the cursor. I'm really getting frustrated, can anyone help me out?

You could also try changing the USB port that your keyboard is connected to. Sometimes, ports can cause weird behavior too. Worth a shot!

I swapped ports, but that didn't help.

It kind of sounds like your keyboard is just confused and thinks it’s in VIM mode or something! Might seem silly, but it could be worth checking if any special modes are activated.

It sounds like your keyboard might be faulty. Have you tried plugging it into a different computer or using a different keyboard on your PC? I haven't heard of shortcuts that would cause this kind of behavior. If it's just one keyboard acting up, it might be on its last legs. You could also check if there are any key remapping programs lurking around that someone may have set up as a prank!

I tried another keyboard, and it works fine—so I guess my original one is dying.
