Hi everyone! I'm having an issue with my laptop; it's been charging for hours but the battery is stuck at 1%. The charging light shows white, suggesting it's fully charged, but as soon as I unplug it, it shuts down. I'm using a HP Pavilion Gaming 15 with Windows 11, 16 GB RAM, and an AMD Ryzen 5 5600H with Radeon Graphics. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks!

First, you should check your battery health in Windows 11. You can generate a Battery Report by opening Command Prompt or PowerShell as an Administrator. Just type `powercfg /batteryreport` and hit Enter. Then, open the generated HTML file, usually located in `C:Users[YourUsername]`. Look at the "Design Capacity" and "Full Charge Capacity". If they show the same values and it’s low, your battery might indeed be dead. Since your laptop works fine with the charger plugged in, your charger seems okay.

Thanks for the guidance! I ran the Battery Report and found that both the Design Capacity and Full Charge Capacity are 15,777 mWh. Does that mean my battery is completely dead?
