I'm experiencing random crashes on my Acer Nitro 5 laptop, and I keep getting a DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error related to ntoskrnl.exe. I've updated everything, but the crashes still happen daily. Can anyone help me figure out how to fix this? Here are my laptop specs: it's an Acer Nitro AN515-58 with a 12th Gen Intel Core i7-12700H, 16GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD that I installed about three weeks ago.

Aside from driver issues, overheating can also cause crashes. Make sure your laptop is well-ventilated and consider using a cooling pad. Also, check your system's event viewer to see if there are any specific errors logged that could help pinpoint the issue.
It sounds like you might have a driver issue. Have you tried checking if all your drivers are updated, especially the graphics and chipset drivers? Sometimes a faulty driver can cause crashes like the one you're describing. You can also try rolling back any recent driver updates if the crashes started after those.
Good point! I had similar issues, and rolling back a graphics driver did the trick for me. Worth a shot!

You might also want to run a memory test just to rule out any RAM problems. Windows has a built-in tool for that under Windows Memory Diagnostic.
