I recently replaced my old keyboard, and now my laptop fan is louder than ever, almost like a lawn mower! I'm not sure why this is happening. Any ideas on what might be wrong?

If the noise is really bothering you, try turning off your laptop, unplugging it, and removing the bottom cover. Make sure to keep track of all the screws. Once you get inside, look at the fans. They might be easily removable, and if there's a damaged fin, replacing it can solve the noise issue. Plus, while you’re there, giving it a dusting could help!
Before diving into fixing it, check if there’s any dust buildup or loose cables around the fan. Good airflow is crucial for laptops. Also, it might help to know the laptop model and when you got it for better suggestions!
Your fan could be making all that noise because a cable is touching the fan blades. You might want to check inside and see if there’s anything interfering with the fan’s movement.
