I've been having a frustrating issue with my laptop while using After Effects (it's a cracked version, I know). After working on a bunch of editing assets, the performance takes a nosedive, and eventually, it hangs completely, forcing me to reboot. I had the same issue downloading from Steam, but that's resolved now. I'm wondering if this is due to a disk problem or something with the software itself. I checked my disk health using CrystalDisk, and it reported 'Good' at 91%.

Another angle to consider—why not just buy the software? You'd get proper support from the developer that way.
Also, how much RAM do you have? And are you running Windows 11 or Windows 10? That might also play a part in this issue.
