Hey everyone! I've been having an odd issue with my laptop lately. Whenever I power it on, I occasionally see a small black window pop up on the screen for just a moment before it disappears. I think it's the command prompt, but I'm not sure. It doesn't seem to affect my system in any way; it just shows up and then goes away. Recently, I've noticed the whole screen goes black for a split second too. I'm really puzzled about what could be causing this. Has anyone experienced something similar? Any suggestions?

Definitely check for malware just to be on the safe side! Run an antimalware scan, and also take a look at the startup applications. You can do this by pressing Ctrl-Shift-Esc to access the Task Manager and see what's running at startup.
This sounds like a potential virus issue. I'd recommend running a full scan with Windows Security. You can find it by going to Security settings, then clicking on virus and threat protection, and then selecting a full scan. It might take some time depending on how much stuff you have on your laptop, but it's worth the wait! Did you download anything suspicious lately?
