I recently traveled with my Legion 17IRH laptop and it ran perfectly fine at the airport. However, once I got home and turned it back on, it became extremely laggy and slow. I've already tried a lot of troubleshooting steps: resetting the laptop, performing a clean install on both the original SSD and a new one, and updating the graphics and network drivers. My BIOS is also up to date. I ran several tests including Prime95 for the CPU, memtest86, CrystalDiskMark, CrystalDiskInfo, and chkdsk, but didn't find any errors. Even the Windows Memory Diagnostic didn't provide me with results in the Event Viewer. Interestingly, my Ubuntu partition is also lagging, and I did a clean install on that as well. The only thing left that concerns me is my battery; it has degraded to 79%, but I don't see how that would explain such a sudden change in performance.

It sounds like you might be dealing with a hardware issue here. Since you've gone through all the software fixes, have you thought about the possibility of picking up a rootkit or boot sector virus? I had some success using tools like Malware Bytes and Spybot Seek & Destroy in the past, so it could be worth a shot, although these might not fully tackle rootkits. Good luck with troubleshooting!
If you're still worried about infections from your travels, have you tried using Adlice Rogue Killer? It's a bit more thorough than standard anti-malware tools and can sometimes catch rootkits that others miss. Just a thought!
