Hey everyone! I just ran the Unigine Heaven 4.0 benchmark on my laptop and scored 700, but I was expecting better results given my specs: an RTX 3050 and a 12th Gen Intel i7 processor. I had everything set to fullscreen at 1080p, and I didn't enable any tessellation or anti-aliasing. I'm really puzzled as to why my score is so low. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Yeah, it definitely helps to use benchmarks that are more in touch with modern specs. A lot of people have expressed similar concerns about their scores with this tool. Maybe run a few games or apps you usually use to see if your laptop meets your performance needs?
Totally agree; laptop components are often 30-40% slower than desktop parts. So, if you were expecting a score similar to desktops, that’s likely the main cause of your issue. If you want more reliable benchmarks, consider using Cinebench or 3DMark instead of Unigine Heaven since it's quite dated.
You should keep in mind that laptop hardware tends to have lower performance due to wattage limitations and thermal management. Laptop components are usually slower than their desktop versions, so that might be why you’re seeing those lower scores compared to others with similar desktop setups.
