I've been having issues with my laptop's WiFi connection. The signal strength drops significantly if I move even a little bit away from the router. I have to almost be right next to it to get a decent connection; I can't even be in the next room without losing signal completely. I'm looking for suggestions on how to fix this issue.

The WiFi works well with all my other devices, and it used to be fine with this laptop too. It’s just that it suddenly started giving weak signals now.
Okay, the router works fine with other devices, and it used to work well with this laptop too. The laptop isn’t old, but I just added a new SSD a couple of days ago, and that's when the weak signal issue started.
