Why is my Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 so slow all of a sudden?

I recently got back from vacation and noticed that my Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3, which has been running great with 8GB of RAM, is now running really slow for both gaming and basic tasks. I've tried freeing up storage space, deleting cache, resetting drivers, and refreshing the GPU, but nothing seems to help. I've checked Task Manager and it doesn't show any issues, and I don't suspect malware. Could this be a Windows problem? I can share a screenshot of my Task Manager stats if that helps!

I get your frustration about the lag, especially when even simple tasks are affected. Definitely keep an eye on your system's performance stats and consider a full reinstall if things don't improve.

If the NVMe is hurting, replacing it could be your best bet. It’s a great way to bring back the speed you used to have! Just remember to backup everything first before making any hardware changes.

Honestly, it might be the model or age of your device that’s slowing it down. Can you confirm the exact model year? If it’s the 2023 version, maybe it could be a hardware issue. I’d suggest checking for firmware updates as well!
