Hey folks, I recently upgraded from an RX 5600xt to a 9060xt with 16GB of VRAM, and I'm really frustrated with the performance. Despite having a great frame rate during gameplay, I've been encountering annoying stutters every few seconds in games like RDR2 and Halo Infinite, even when I set everything to the lowest settings. My CPU is a Ryzen 7 5800x, and nothing seems to be maxed out according to Task Manager. I'm really regretting this purchase and would appreciate any advice on how to fix these stuttering issues.

You might want to check if PBO (Precision Boost Overdrive) is active and make sure your monitor is connected to the right GPU. After all that, trying undervolting your GPU might help reduce temperatures and improve stable performance too!
Check your settings in Radeon Adrenaline—try turning off anti-lag. I had the same stutter issues with a 9070XT, and that tweak fixed it for me! Also, consider clearing your shader cache; that helped optimize my game's performance.
I had a similar stuttering issue before too. Try downgrading your GPU drivers to an older version; it made a world of difference for me when I switched back. Just a thought!
It sounds like you're pushing more resources with the new GPU, so checking your system RAM usage is important. Don’t forget to monitor your temps during gameplay; tools like HWinfo or MSI Afterburner can help you see if there's throttling happening.
Have you tried using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller)? Even if it might not completely solve your stutter issue, it's a good starting point when introducing a new GPU. I'd recommend checking your memory setup too—make sure both sticks are running properly and at the right timings.
Totally agree, DDU is a must! And yeah, also keep an eye on your memory speeds; having everything optimized can make a difference.
