I just bought a brand new HP 15 laptop with Windows 11 and 8GB of RAM about two weeks ago, and I'm really concerned about my RAM usage. Even when the laptop is sitting idle, the RAM usage can spike up to 60%. If I open a browser with just three tabs—like social media or Google Drive—the usage jumps to 88%! I've tried using both the Opera and Edge browsers, but the problem persists. Can anyone help me figure out why it's so high and how to fix it? Thanks in advance!

Honestly, high RAM usage isn't unusual for Windows 11, especially with just 8GB. If it’s not causing any lag while you're using your laptop, it might just be how Windows manages memory. Just let it do its thing unless you notice performance issues. That said, if you're still feeling uneasy, you could consider upgrading your RAM or even swapping out the laptop if it's too bothersome.
First off, have you tried checking the Task Manager? It'll show you which processes are consuming your RAM. Sometimes, background apps take up more than you'd expect. If you're unsure, you can post a screenshot of it here for some guidance!

Good point! It could also be system services that are running and using memory. Checking the Task Manager should definitely help you pinpoint the issue.
