Why is my new PC build so slow at boot and then restarting?

I recently completed my new PC build, and at first, everything seemed to be running smoothly. I installed Windows and all the necessary drivers. However, the next day, I started experiencing significant lag—Windows was extremely slow to load, and I saw weird frame drops on the desktop and when launching Chrome. I tried reinstalling the NVIDIA GPU drivers, but that didn't help. I even went ahead and reinstalled Windows, but I'm still facing the same issues. I'm at a loss here, and I could really use some guidance! Here are my specs:

- Motherboard: Gigabyte X870e Aorus Elite
- CPU: Ryzen 7 9800x3D
- GPU: RTX 5080 Aorus Master

First off, have you checked to see if you have the latest drivers for your motherboard from the Gigabyte website? Sometimes, outdated drivers can cause performance issues like the lag you're experiencing.

I think I installed those, but is it really common for lag to occur if I haven’t updated the motherboard drivers?
