I recently built a new PC and have been experiencing some frustrating GPU issues. After setting everything up, I encountered problems with Windows initially, but I thought it was just a minor glitch. However, when I tried to play Valorant and Marvel Rivals, things got worse. Valorant would crash either during gameplay or when launching, citing corrupted game files and issues with 'this build of Vanguard cannot run on untrusted machines.' Marvel Rivals couldn't even open due to constant GPU crash dumps and alerts about GPU crashes. I went ahead and installed a new M.2 drive and did a fresh install of Windows 11 from a flash drive, but the issues persisted. I also swapped my old GTX 1070 for a new RTX 4060ti, but I still have no luck. I've already uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers using DDU, but I'm at a loss now. Here are my PC specs:
- CPU: Ryzen 5 5500
- GPU: RTX 4060ti
- Motherboard: B550M
- PSU: 650W Bronze
- RAM: 16GB DDR4 3000MHz
- Storage: Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500GB
If anyone could help me figure out what's going wrong, I'd really appreciate it!

It sounds like you might be having issues with the BIOS settings or something related to how your disk is set up. Just a heads up, messing with BIOS can sometimes lead to data loss, so make sure your backups are solid. Also, have you checked to see if any of the games you're trying to play have kernel level anti-cheat? Some people have found that causes crashes too.
You might want to try running a game that doesn't have kernel-level anti-cheat first. I had a similar issue and switching to a different game helped identify whether my GPU was truly at fault or if it was just the anti-cheat causing the problems. You can check out the differences with CS2 or other titles without heavy anti-cheat.
Yeah, I tried CS2 after getting this advice and it worked for a bit, but it crashed on me after a few minutes. So frustrating! Keep an eye on temperatures and maybe try stress-testing your GPU with other tools to see if it's a hardware issue.
