Why is my new PC running RAM at 2133MHz instead of 3200MHz?

Hey everyone! I recently got a new PC with an Intel Core i9 10900KF and an NVIDIA RTX 3080, along with Corsair RAM. However, I'm currently only getting 2133MHz from the RAM, which feels slow compared to my old PC that ran at 3200MHz. I've tried enabling XMP, but it causes crashes when I set any frequency. Does anyone have advice on tweaking the settings or anything else I can do to improve this? Thanks!

You might want to manually set the RAM speed and timings in the BIOS. This can often resolve issues when XMP is causing instability. Just make sure to check the recommended settings for your RAM model, which you can usually find on the manufacturer's website or your RAM packaging.

Do you know what specific settings I should use and where to find those options in the BIOS?

Try putting the RAM sticks in the A2 and B2 slots, which are the second and fourth slots from the CPU. They usually optimize performance better, especially if you have all four slots filled up.

I already have all four RAM slots populated, does that still apply?
