Why is my new PC shutting off and flickering?

I just completed building a new PC, and it was running perfectly for a couple of days, but now it shuts off randomly and keeps flickering on and off. A DRAM light appears on the motherboard when this happens. It shut down while I was gaming, and I'm currently using an older graphics card while waiting for the new one to arrive, but I don't think that should cause the issue. Here are my specs: Motherboard - Rog Strix x870a, RAM - Vengeance DDR5 32GB (16x2), CPU - Ryzen 5 7600x, CPU Cooler - ThermalAlright Royal Knight 120 80.45 CFM, Power Supply - Cooler Master MWE Gold 850 V2 850 W 80+.

The DRAM light usually points to problems with either the RAM or CPU. How many RAM sticks do you have installed? It would also help to confirm your CPU specs. If you have both covered, consider that the motherboard itself could be at fault, especially since your PC shut off unexpectedly during use. That’s a sign worth investigating further.

I've seen similar issues, and it could also be a motherboard problem. Since it shutdown suddenly while you were using it, I would lean towards that as a potential culprit. Make sure all connections are secure and check for any visible damage.
