I recently built a new PC and everything is running smoothly, but I'm experiencing slow web browsing. I have a fast internet connection with a speed of 150 Mbps, but when I try to load pages like Amazon, it takes forever for products and images to appear. I've tested it on both Chrome and Edge, and I've noticed that YouTube also lags during video playback, though I did manage to fix some of that by turning off the Windows efficiency mode. My old PC didn't have any of these issues. Does anyone know how I can resolve this?

It might be worth checking if your RAM is running at the correct speed. Sometimes, it can default to a lower speed which could slow down performance.
Try using a brand new CAT6 ethernet cable to see if that improves your connection. If it does, then that was likely the issue. If not, let us know and we can troubleshoot further.
You might want to try updating your DNS servers. A couple of reliable options are Google’s DNS: use 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for IPv4. This could help speed things up a lot!
It sounds like slow DNS resolution could be causing your issues. Make sure your computer is set to use your router for DNS, and check that your router has the right settings and DNS servers configured.
Have you updated all your drivers? Also, check if Windows is running any background downloads for updates that were available after you set up your system; that could be slowing things down.

I actually used the same cable with my old PC and it was fine! I get the same 150 Mbps speed, so I'm not sure if that's the problem.
