Why is My New PC’s Fan So Loud at Idle?

I just put together a new PC, but I'm really frustrated because the fans are extremely noisy even when the system is idle. I've already tried adjusting the fan curve in the BIOS, but it didn't help at all after a restart. Has anyone experienced this and can offer some advice?

Double-check how your fans are powered. If they're not connected to the motherboard, then BIOS settings won't impact them at all. Also, if you've got an AIO cooler, ensure its fans are plugged into the right headers.

The AIO fans work fine, but I had issues with the Lian Li case fans—three didn’t fit and the other five won’t spin.

First off, check your CPU and GPU temperatures. If they're running hotter than normal, that might be why the fans are ramping up. Idling at 50-55°C for the CPU seems high, so you might want to look into that.

Yeah, it does sound high to me too. I'm worried it might be affecting performance.
