I've recently set up a new router and it's connected to my home internet, but I'm having issues. My phone shows that it's connected to the router, yet my apps are still not working. I've tried unplugging and re-plugging everything, and resetting the router, but nothing seems to help. Has anyone else faced this issue?

First, try rebooting your modem if you have access to it. Sometimes ISPs require you to do that when you connect a new router. If you can't reboot it yourself, you might need to contact your ISP to change the MAC address. Also, check if your new router supports MAC cloning; if it does, you can input the MAC of your old router.
Make sure to inform your ISP that you have a new router. They can help with any necessary adjustments on their end, and let you know if you need to make changes to your settings too.

I actually called ting, and they keep insisting it's a problem with my router.
