I'm really confused about my NVMe drive. It shows up fine in Windows, but for some reason, I can't access it at all in Linux. What could be causing this? Did some weird limitation get in the way? And most importantly, how can I resolve this issue?

You might want to check your BIOS settings. If it's set to RAID mode, you probably haven't installed the necessary RAID drivers in Linux. It sounds like that could be the issue.

I had a similar problem before. I found that my drives were showing as RAID drives instead of AHCI. I had to change the settings in the BIOS, and once I did that, everything worked perfectly.

It sounds like your drive might be encrypted with BitLocker. Linux can see the drive itself but can't mount it if it's locked. You might want to check for a lock icon in your file explorer on Windows.

To help you better, I need more details. What Linux distribution are you using? What version? Have you installed any drivers that would support your NVMe drive? Also, what model is it and what type of computer do you have?

Check your BIOS/UEFI settings for your SSD mode. I recently faced a similar issue, and the drive was stuck in RAID mode instead of AHCI, which was why I couldn't access it.
