Why is my PBO setting not working on my 5700X with an A520 motherboard?

I'm trying to set the PPT to 100W or 120W on my Ryzen 5700X while using an A520 motherboard, but it seems like I'm stuck at a power limit of 78W. Is there something I'm missing, or is this a limitation of my motherboard?

The A520 motherboard typically caps power limits at around 65W due to its lower-quality VRM design. If you need higher limits, you might want to consider upgrading to a B550 motherboard, which can handle more power. Just something to keep in mind if you're looking for better performance!

Have you checked the VRM temperatures? Low-end boards like the A520 aren't known for great power delivery or cooling. If the temps are high, it could be throttling the power output.

I did take a look! Here’s a link to the photos of my VRM temps: [Temps](https://www.reddit.com/r/AMDHelp/s/ijb6Uwqw7o) they seem pretty typical.
