I recently upgraded my PC with a new RTX 4070 graphics card and added two 32 GB sticks of DDR4 RAM. However, now my PC has started crashing. My CPU is an i5 11400, and I'm wondering if that could be causing any issues. Any ideas on what might be the problem?

Sounds like your power supply unit (PSU) might not be providing enough power for your new setup. Are you using just those two RAM sticks? It's important to ensure your PSU can handle the load, especially with a powerful GPU like the 4070.
Another possibility is the RAM speed in your BIOS settings. You should ensure it matches or is lower than the rated MHz of your RAM. Also, make sure you have a PSU rated for at least 600 watts to avoid power issues.
If you're unsure about your power supply unit, you can usually find the model number by looking inside your case. If it turns out to be underpowered, I'd recommend a reliable brand like Corsair or EVGA with at least 600 watts. They have some great options that are both efficient and affordable.
It could definitely be a wattage issue with your PSU. Have you checked if you installed the latest Nvidia drivers after the upgrade? Also, make sure you’re not mixing different RAM kits if they're not compatible. Don't forget to enable XMP in your BIOS if you haven't already!
Yeah, I did reinstall the drivers, but I’ll check about the RAM compatibility and XMP settings too. Thanks!
