I've recently built a PC with the following parts: a Gigabyte B850 GAMING WIFI6 motherboard, an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU, a Gigabyte RTX 5070 TI GPU, and a Corsair RM750e PSU. While playing a game called Clair Obscur Expedition 33, I've noticed my computer makes clicking sounds during the intro cutscene. I think the noise is coming from around the CPU, back fan, or possibly the GPU, but I can't pinpoint it exactly. I've checked for any cables hitting the fans and didn't find any problems. I've tested other games and stress tests without experiencing the issue. Interestingly, lower graphics settings didn't help, and the clicking stops when I pause the cutscene. I've also disconnected all sound cables without resolving the issue. Should I be concerned about this noise?

It sounds like you might be dealing with a failing SATA hard drive if you have one, but since you mentioned using only SSDs, that’s likely not the issue. It's curious though; sometimes it could be cables or something like labels on fan headers hitting the fan. Keep checking around there, you might find the culprit!
Honestly, it's a bit unnerving. Clicking can often be a precursor to hardware failure. Since you didn't have the problem during normal gameplay, it might still have something to do with how the game accesses resources during cutscenes. Just in case, I’d keep an eye on everything and maybe do a backup if you haven’t already.
Good point! I actually made a video of the sound—I suspect it could be the PSU. Going to remove it and see if that fixes the issue.
If you have mechanical drives, definitely back them up. If not, the clicking might just be unfortunate timing with the game’s performance. Keep monitoring it, but if it persists, look deeper into your PSU or even the GPU. If you can, try to replicate the sound again while under various loads.

Thanks for the suggestion! I definitely ruled out any cables hitting the fans. It’s so weird that I can’t find anything else causing this clicking.
