Why is my PC not detecting the GPU after a fresh Windows install?

Hey everyone! I just built a PC yesterday, and after completing the Windows installation, I noticed that it's not detecting my GPU. I'm a bit puzzled because the monitor is connected directly to the GPU and it seems to be receiving power since the fans are spinning. I've already tried removing the GPU and reinserting it, but it doesn't show up in the device manager or BIOS at all. Any ideas on what might be going wrong?

Did you manage to install any GPU drivers yet? Sometimes Windows needs those to recognize the GPU correctly.

You might want to install video drivers when you get a chance. That could help Windows see the GPU.

What GPU model did you go with? Knowing the specific model could help narrow down some troubleshooting steps.
