Why is my PC performance so much worse than expected?

I've been struggling with my PC's performance lately. I have a setup with an i5 13400f and a 4060 ti, but for the past few months, it's been running noticeably below average in games, giving me far less FPS than I'd expect. I even ran a benchmark test, but I'm really confused about the results. Can anyone help me understand why this is happening and if there's a way to fix it?

First off, can you share the rest of your specs? It might help us diagnose the issue better! Someone mentioned you have a decent i5 13400f and 4060 ti. Just checking if you've got enough RAM and what your storage setup looks like.

Sure! I have 32 GB of DDR5 RAM, a Kingston 1TB NVMe SSD, and a Deepcool PF750D power supply.

Honestly, userbenchmark isn't the best source. Many people criticize it for being biased against AMD and often misleading. I would try looking at comparisons on YouTube for a clearer picture of how your hardware should perform. But remember, a lot can affect performance including background processes and thermal throttling, so check those too!

I've done some YouTube comparisons, and even then my PC seems to be underperforming. It's really frustrating!
