Hey everyone! I recently upgraded my PC from Windows 10 to Windows 11 after support for the former ended. Since then, I've been experiencing some serious performance issues. My PC boots up slower and feels sluggish overall. I even upgraded my specs to 32GB of DDR4 3600MHz RAM and a Ryzen 5 5600X, but it was actually faster with my old setup (16GB RAM at 2666MHz and a Ryzen 5 3600). I've deleted all my old Windows 10 files and I'm at a loss for what to do next. I've heard some people recommend doing a full clean install of Windows 11 instead of just upgrading—what do you think? Is that the best way to resolve these issues?

It's a common problem with Ryzen CPUs after the Windows 11 upgrade—sometimes even a new CPU can cause issues. A clean install usually helps clear up these slowdowns, especially if they’re related to the new OS. I’ve seen Hardware Unboxed mention it a few times in their reviews. It might be worth doing that to see if it improves performance.
I'd suggest going for a fresh install and then see how things are running. I've transitioned many systems to Windows 11 and have not faced much slowdown myself, but it depends on the hardware. If it's really lagging, a clean install might just be the fix you need.
