I'm having a frustrating issue with my PC shutting down when I play demanding games like Call of Duty and GTA. It completely powers off, along with my monitor and keyboard, and then restarts, bringing me back to the login screen. This happens with several games, including Roblox, Siege, and Fortnite. Sometimes, the GPU is extremely hot after these shutdowns, while other times it just seems to turn off unexpectedly. I've kept the glass case open because I suspect it might be overheating. I'm relatively new to computers and unsure what's causing this problem. I've already cleaned my PC, so dust shouldn't be an issue, and I've replaced the thermal paste for the CPU. Here are my specs:
- Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 2700 Eight-Core Processor 3.20 GHz
- RAM: 16.0 GB
- Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER (8 GB)
- PSU: POWER SPEC 650W/750W 80 PLUS BRONZE (not sure what to look for in the PSU)
I'm looking for any advice or ideas on how to fix this so I can enjoy gaming without constantly worrying about the shutdowns!

Did your PC ever work fine before? It might be worth trying to reapply fresh thermal paste to the CPU if you haven't already.
I have a hunch it might be the PSU. It could be failing to supply enough power when you're running demanding games, leading to the shutdowns. I hope I'm wrong, but it's something to consider!
You can keep an eye on your temperatures using HWInfo64. Speculating without data isn't going to help much.
It's normal for GPUs to get hot, but it depends on how hot they actually get. Have you installed any monitoring software? Hardware Info is a good tool. You should monitor your CPU and GPU temperatures while gaming. Based on your hardware, it might be necessary to repaste the CPU or even the GPU, depending on what's overheating.
I repasted my CPU, but I'm not sure how to do it for my GPU.
Yes, it worked fine before, and I did replace the thermal paste.
