Why is my PC turning on and off by itself at night?

I woke up in shock to find my PC randomly turning on and off by itself. This has never happened before, and whenever it powers on, I just see the BIOS menu. Sometimes it functions normally, but then it gets caught in this cycle of shutting down and turning back on. I'm really confused and need help!

This happened to me before and it turned out to be an issue with my GPU. I found a burnt capacitor on it after opening up my system. You might want to check your GPU too!

It sounds like your power button might be stuck, or there could be something spilled inside your case. Have you checked for any debris around the power button or inside the case?

I've checked, and the power button is fine. There’s no moisture or spills; it just started doing this out of nowhere.

Could be a BIOS setting that triggers wake-ups, but if your room is dry and there's no moisture, that’s probably not the case. Still, it's worth checking your BIOS settings just to be safe!

My room is super dry, so I don’t think that’s it. But I’ll take a look at the BIOS settings!
