I've got a GTX 1080 and a GTX 1070 installed in my PC, but I'm having a strange issue. Even though the 1080 is the primary GPU in the PCIe slot, it seems like my BIOS and most games are opting to use the 1070 for display and performance tasks. My main monitor is plugged into the 1080, yet the games still run off the 1070. I feel like this is really impacting my performance. Can anyone help me figure this out?

You might want to check your display settings. In many cases, you can set a dedicated GPU for certain applications. For example, I have my GTX 1060 as the primary GPU but switch to a GTX 1660 Super when gaming. Make sure the GTX 1080 is selected properly in your system settings.
But isn't the 1080 already the selected one?
