I'm experiencing frustratingly slow internet speeds on my PC, despite paying for a 500 Mbps plan. A speed test indicates we're only getting around 20 Mbps, and while my control panel shows speeds of up to 100 Mbps, this is still far from what I expect. I've checked other devices in my home, like my phone and laptop, which are achieving speeds between 300–400 Mbps. The PC is a prebuilt model from Ionize, and I'm currently trying to gather details about its hardware. What steps can I take to troubleshoot and possibly fix this issue?

To start with, check if you have a gigabit-capable router and that all your equipment, including the Ethernet cable and network card, are up to speed. Every part of your setup needs to support those faster speeds. Can you share the models of your router and network card?

Had a similar issue where my old network card was limiting my speeds. Upgrading definitely solved it, so it's worth looking into!
