Why is my Peerless Assassin 120 SE V2 overheating during Cinebench 23?

I'm experimenting with my son's old CyberPowerPC, which has a Ryzen 5 3600 that I've overclocked to 4200 MHz at 1.35V. I'm using Arctic Silver 5 thermal paste applied with the X method, and typically, the CPU temps range from 42 to 56 degrees. However, while running Cinebench 23, I'm hitting a maximum temperature of 95 degrees, which seems excessive. I initially used the thermal paste that came with the heatsink, but temps were only slightly higher than now. When I checked the heatsink, I noticed a very thin layer of thermal paste on the CPU. I also made sure to remove the plastic cover from the bottom of the heatsink. Should I take the heatsink off again to inspect the Arctic Silver thermal paste? Any tips or input would be appreciated!

Could your case be overheating because of poor airflow? Try removing the side panel and check if the temperatures drop. Also, remember that stress tests like Cinebench really push your CPU to the limit, so seeing high numbers isn't unusual. Just make sure your fans are functioning properly!

Yeah, but shouldn’t the max temps be lower with the heatsink I'm using?
