I've been having a major issue with my main phone recently. Everything was fine until it suddenly started shutting down on its own. I'm trying to access my WiFi through the general settings, but every time I tap on the WiFi section, my phone freezes. My cellular data isn't much help either. I checked the WiFi on my other devices, and it's running smoothly there. My main phone has service, while my backup devices don't, which adds to the frustration. I've tried resetting my phone, but it still keeps freezing. I'm not sure why it's acting up, and I really want to get my WiFi back on my main phone. If you need me to send a video to explain further, just let me know!

It sounds like there might be an issue with the modem chip in your phone. I had a similar problem with my iPhone where the cellular data wouldn't work reliably, and the WiFi was hit or miss too. If you're under warranty, I recommend reaching out to Apple for a repair or replacement. That should be covered!
I feel you, it's definitely a hassle. My iPhone 12 had a similar issue with the modem chip failing. Thankfully, I had warranty coverage and got it replaced. It really does seem like a hardware problem if resetting hasn’t helped. Maybe check if your local repair shops can assist at a reasonable price if you can't go through Apple.
Thank you! I actually called Apple support and they set me up for an appointment. I'm just worried about losing everything since I can't back it up right now.
Thanks for the tip! Unfortunately, I don't have a warranty or AppleCare+, so I'm a bit worried about repair costs.
