Why is my RTX 3080 Ti performing lower in Furmark than expected?

I've got an EVGA RTX 3080 Ti FTW3 Ultra, and I just tested it on Furmark at 1080p, but I'm only getting a max of 160fps. I know Furmark isn't the most reliable for GPU testing, but I saw this YouTuber squeezing almost double that fps on the same card! Just to add, my temperatures are higher, but I'm not too concerned about that right now. Any thoughts on what could be causing my lower performance?

Check your GPU utilization while running Furmark. If it’s around 100%, then your GPU is working hard, but if it’s lower, there could be a bottleneck somewhere. That might explain the lower fps.

Yeah, I just checked and it’s at 100%. Guess I’d better look into other settings or software.

Also, keep in mind temperature cuts performance too. If you're hitting high temps, the GPU might throttle down to prevent overheating. Just something to consider!

Honestly, Furmark isn't the best benchmark, and if you're comparing it to a different version from YouTube, that could skew the results. They might have used an outdated version. Try running 3DMark instead, it's more recognized for testing.

Good point! I’ll give 3DMark a shot and see if the scores change.
